Whose “Poo”ing at the Ranch?

… Delicately called “poo” or “potty”

Around a ranch or farm …

 A great Ecosystem Service for fertilizer, fuel, food (for other critters/insects), and building materials !

 “cow pie” :                        cattle

“pats” or “patties” :        bovine – cows, oxen, bison, buffalo

        a great source of fuel, plaster and bricks!

“road apples” :                 horses

“pellets” :                           rabbit (in and out)

“nanny berries” :            goats

“squirt” :                            poultry-chickens, geese, turkeys, ducks

     chickens don’t pee.  The liquid and solids are excreted from

     the same orifice.

“perfume” :                      buck urine (goats in particular)

“Dip” :                                sheep

“tootsie rolls” :               cat

“scat” :                               cat (and wild critters who sometimes

      invade ranch grounds)     (dogs favorite candy)

“beans” :                            llama
